Join host Robert Forto as he welcomes Thom Swan to Mushing Radio.
“Swanny” is a historical reenactor and recreational dog musher. He and his wife, Trish, share their home with 20 dogs, two kittens and a very forgiving house rabbit at their Stardancer Historical Sled Dogs kennel in Two Rivers, Alaska.
On this episode we discuss:
- How Swanny got started in mushing
- Tell us about your kennel and dogs?
- I know you are interested in mushing history. Do you have a story or two to share?
“A good dog is so much a nobler beast than an indifferent man that one sometimes gladly exchanges the society of one for that of the other.” William Francis Butler
