Can you explain how mushers can get lost on trail? How are they marked? Etc.
Thanks for asking! It is very well marked. They use wood stakes with orange and green paint at the top with a piece of reflective tape below that. As they get toward the river on the trail and onward to the finish they have these large tripod wood markers that have been there for years.
