Join hosts Robert Forto and Alex Stein as they bring you Mushing Radio. On this episode we continue to talk about the Iditarod Trail and its checkpoints. We travel down the trail from Ophir to Kaltag.

It is often said that the Iditarod is a race divided into thirds. On this episode we take you along the lonely trail from Ophir and Iditarod where there is not much there and hardly any civilization, and on to the mighty Yukon River and making our way to Kaltag.

We talk about: Ophir, Iditarod, Shageluk, Anvik, Grayling, Eagle Island and Kaltag.
