Phoebe Owens was the head librarian/archivist for the global creative ad agency Weiden+Kennedy for ten years and is now a freelance librarian/archivist, writer, branding and social media lead for Kids Listen, and a kids & families podcaster living in Portland, Oregon. She also worked to develop content and strategy for a dial-a-story service in 2020.
Phoebe Owens, she/hers is a librarian, writer, and educator with a passion for storytelling and a belief that everyone’s stories are important. She’s a columnist for School Library Journal–writing about podcasts for kids, serves on the board of Kids Listen–a nonprofit dedicated to high-quality audio content for families, and is the mom of an 8-year-old⸺with whom she co-writes and produces the award-winning action-adventure story podcast The Adventures of Power Dog in Dogland.
