On this episode Hugh calls in from the sled on the trails of the Yukon Quest Sled Dog Race as he trains up his team for the race that is coming up in a couple weeks. Hugh talks about his dog teams, the race, his trip to Germany that is coming up in the fall with an Alaskan legend, Hobo Jim and more.

Since Hugh is on the trails we do lose him for a minute or two early in the show but we are able to re-esctablish the connection.
