Not all, but most people need to listen to this podcast. When they are around a Service Dog and / or have kids with them, they still have a purposeful tendency or not, to distract Service Dogs, even though the dog vest says not to. I have also experienced kids walking by my dog and I, and stick their arms out and drag their hands across my dogs body. Some parents don’t watch their kids when they should, and then explain and teach kids why they should not do that. I was at the Seward Alaska Sea Life Center, and I had two late teenage or a little older Chinese or Japanese girls hanging over my dog and I, trying to read the patches on his vest. It not only made me uncomfortable, but my dog locked directly at the girls with a serious look, Like he was trying to say “what the heck are you doing”? Then they followed us around the Sea Life Center and I started giving them the dirty look, and they finally stopped. It did freak me out, because my PTSD / hyper-vigilance was in motion by then.
