Join host Robert Forto as he welcomes Iditarod veteran and recent Kobuk440 champion, Ken Anderson to Mushing Radio
Anderson, a twelve-time veteran of the Iditarod, shares stories from his experiences as a musher that started way back when he was a boy and received a book on the Iditarod. He got his first experiences on a dog sled by spending trips in the Boundary Waters area of Northern Minnesota with his family on camping trips.
Over the years Anderson has worked with some of the great’s of this sport while honing his craft to become a professional musher. He credits his mushing education to the who’s who of mushing including, Jeff King, Susan Butcher, Ramey Brooks and more.
In the summer months you will often find Andserson giving a sled dog presentation at the Wedgewood Resort in Fairbanks.
